chülke gigasept® pearls is an active-oxygen-based instrument disinfectant designed for the manual cleaning and disinfection of reusable medical instruments and medical devices. Its formulation combines sodium percarbonate and tetraacetylethylenediamine (TAED) with a multi-enzyme cleaning system containing protease, lipase and amylase. This combination supports effective cleaning while providing broad microbiological efficacy.
The product is suitable for thermostable and thermolabile medical instruments that can be reprocessed using an immersion bath. It is particularly suitable for flexible endoscopes and sensitive materials, including silicone, polycarbonate, polysulfone and acrylic glass. gigasept® pearls can also be used in suitable ultrasonic-bath applications.
The special pearl-shaped granules are designed to be dust-free, making handling and dosing more convenient than conventional powdered formulations. The product is intended for professional healthcare use and must always be used according to the manufacturer's instructions and the reprocessing requirements of the medical-device manufacturer.
