How health is influenced by climate change

1. Respiratory conditions

The increase of global warming has resulted in rise of particulate matter in air in turn resulting in increased air pollution. This has cause increased susceptibility of diseases like bronchitis, asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder.

    2. Disease caused by extreme heat

Temperature in summers are increasing year by year which is causing more heatwaves. This cause dehydration and serious health conditions such as heat strokes. Children and old individuals are at high risk of heat strokes.

    3. Food and water shortages

Floods, reduced crop production, droughts as a result of climate change are causing deficit of flood and water. These cause malnutrition in the affected nations. Flood pollute water resulting in increased water borne diseases.
